Persons who may be entitled to exempt property under s. 732.402 will be deemed to have waived their rights to claim that property as exempt property unless a petition for determination of exempt property is filed by such persons or on their behalf on or before the later of the date that is 4 months after the date of service of a copy of the notice of administration on such persons or the date that is 40 days after the date of termination of any proceeding involving the construction, admission to probate, or validity of the will or involving any other matter affecting any part of the exempt property.
Unless an extension is granted pursuant to section 732.2135(2), Florida Statutes an election to take an elective share must be filed on or before the earlier of the date that is 6 months after the date of service of a copy of the notice of administration on the surviving spouse, or an attorney in fact or a guardian of the property of the surviving spouse, or the date that is 2 years after the date of the decedent’s death.
Under certain circumstances and by failing to contest the will, the recipient of the notice of administration may be waving his or her right to contest the validity of a trust or other writing incorporated by reference into a will.

YOU ARE HERBY NOTIFIED that an action for Dissolution of Marriage with Minor Children has been filed against you and that you are required to serve a copy of your written defenses, if any, to it on Petitioner/Wife, EMILY REBECCA HANSEN, whose address is 127 Palafox, Suite 100, Pensacola, FL 32502, on or before 06/17/2024, and file the original with the clerk of this Court at the Escambia County Courthouse located at 190 W. Government St., Pensacola, FL 32502 before service on Petitioner/Wife or immediately thereafter. If you fail to do so, a default may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the petition.
Copies of all court documents in this case, including orders, are available at the Clerk of the Circuit Court's office. You may review these documents upon request.
You must keep the Clerk of the Circuit Court's office notified of your current address. (You may file a Designation of Current Mailing and E-Mail Addresses, Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Form 12.195.)
